Catalog Design Case Study: When Dynamic Electric Agency, a renowned electrical product supplier in Nowabpur, Dhaka, reached out to me, they had a clear vision: to develop a clean, professional, and impactful fan catalog for their growing product line. With decades of experience in the electric goods market, their next move was to present their branded fans (Defender, Kennede, Winstar, NDX, GFC, Evernal, etc.) in a way that speaks to both retailers and B2B clients.

The Objective

Their primary goal was to create a print-ready catalog that would also work seamlessly in digital format (PDF for WhatsApp, email, etc.). They needed a design that could:

  • Display product specifications clearly
  • Highlight features like AC/DC, USB ports, LED lights
  • Maintain brand consistency
  • Look clean, modern, and easy to browse

My Design Process

The client provided raw product photos and a basic design idea. My job was to elevate it into a polished, market-ready presentation.

Here’s what I delivered:

  • Custom graphics and icons to explain features
  • Background removal and photo editing for all product images
  • A modern, grid-based layout that’s easy to follow
  • Two formats: High-res print PDF + web-optimized PDF
  • Source files for future edits or updates

The Challenge

The biggest challenge was working with inconsistent product photos. I had to do detailed retouching and standardize lighting, contrast, and alignment across the entire catalog.

I also crafted a layout that visually flows, maintaining brand color tones and using white space effectively for easy readability—essential in any catalog design.

The Result

The finished product is a sleek, informative catalog that Dynamic Electric Agency now proudly uses in dealer meetings, showrooms, and digital promotions. They were extremely satisfied with the outcome—and I was honored to contribute to their branding journey.
